Remember the beloved children's tale The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch? She had only a paper bag to wear after a dragon destroyed her castle and belongings. The shallow prince whom she rescued showed his true nature by complaining she didn't look like a princess dressed in that bag. Beautiful set of photos. I especially like the first one with the mountains way off in the distance with the water, pier, and beach coming into the foreground.

ReplyDeleteRestoration of salmon habitat should be a project of national importance. When conditions are right for salmon so much benefit accrues to the rest of the ecosystem. And kudos to all who show sympathy and solidarity with Ukraine, however symbolic it may be, as we sit idly by and watch Vladimir Putin dismember the country and its people.
ReplyDeleteGreetings and Salutations! Perfect images to celebrate Earth Day.
