Keyholes In A Painted Sky

The statue of a man waiting for the train at the foot of the White Rock Museum and former train station does not ponder the sky as I frequently do. And although it is cloudy, not starry, the horizon and recent posting of my Van Gogh experience inspired a poem for the What's Going On prompt, " ... what is unchanging, what can we count on, or what do we hope is timeless or everlasting?" For me curiosity about the true nature of existence is everlasting and resulted in these few words:

  1. A beautiful poem, and your reference to "Starry Night" drives home the point of the wonders of the universe, life and the eternal questions: "Who am I? What am I doing here? Whither shall I go?"
