I like the poem and all the beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous captures and commentary!
ReplyDeleteLovely quote from MLK and your message. Love your poem. So appropriate for our current reality. :)
ReplyDeleteTop shots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful poem and photos! And I very much like the quite from MLK too.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the birds and that one dog (yours?) and the shore with a great trail to walk along. Yes, remembering we are all connected is vital to get through the challenges we're all facing these days.
ReplyDeleteNot my dog. :)
Delete"We're all in the same boat. Keep the boat afloat." That was a chant I remember from my March on Washington against the Iraq invasion. The pictures are refreshing and help clear my mental palette.
ReplyDeleteThose circles are terrifying, right now. That feeling--deep and all around--that leaves a heart convinced there is no shore. Maybe, if we all row and dream together, land will welcome us back.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will. I like that idea. :)
DeleteLove that heron, looking cold! Beautiful photos, as always.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteYour poem is lovely, you do have a way with words. The MLK quote is so true, we are all tied together. Your photos are beautiful. I would enjoy walking along that coastal path. The dog is a cutie and I love all the birds. The Heron, the Wigeons and even the crow are beautiful. Cute snail. Thank you so much for your critter post and sharing your link. Take care, have a great weekend.
Beautiful photos! All of us in the same boat, even when we're pulling in different directions.
ReplyDeleteHello :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wildlife captures and wise words in your poem and in the M.L.K.junior's quote. Yes| We are all tied together although the thread may be flimsy in places, we are all connected I like your cute dog! and all the shore views, and the snail is an appropriate addition to your post. Slowly but surely it wins the race, but not too slowly I hope.
All the best
Sonjia.
The snail is very neat and I love the photo with the billowy clouds in the sky!
ReplyDeleteThe snail won my heart!
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to visit, for not only images, but your wise words and that of Dr. King, and your lovely poem. Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteAs in circles we row...or swim like those dear little ducks!
