Heaven's Touch

Autumn, to me, is pure heaven especially when, after the morning rain, the sun streaks through the sleepy greenery and illuminates spent blooms in graceful decay. Silver shimmering streams transform the forest into a divine realm. The refreshing coolness of the season replaces the stifling heat of summer; cozy sweaters and scarves find their places again at the front of the closet. Fall is the season that speaks to my sensibilities best, inspiring my few lines below for Poets and Storytellers United.
